‘Tìm’ (pronounced ‘Cheem’, Gaelic for time.)

Having grown up in the West Coast Coigach peninsula of the Scottish Highlands – an area steeped in culture and local traditions – Mairearad was introduced to folk music at an early age.

Renowned for her deft and lyrical accordion style, as well as her dextrous piping, and haunting vocals, Mairearad is in great demand as a performer and composer.

To celebrate the launch of her new album, and Exhibition of the same name : Tìm, Mairearad will be joined by multi-instrumentalist, Mike Vass for a special live performance at An Talla Solais, Thursday 14th May.
