Working at the seaside location of the Ullapool Sailing Club at Shore Street, JAS ROBERTS of ‘Na Mara Workshops’ will lead this i experimentative workshop that explores and celebrates Kelp as a living material that can be used as a vessel for traditional printing methods. Taking elements of block printing and Mono printing techniques- we will use kelp leather to create printed art works. participants will have the ability to create their own card to take home and collaborate on a larger collective fabric piece, with their kelp prints that can be reused multiple times!
