  Meet the Maker - Rowena Dugdale at HAVØRN GALLERY

  • Rowena Dugdale - (owner/designer/maker of Red Ruby Rose bags and accessories) will be demonstrating the process of making her beautiful bags and accessories. She will be showcasing the designs for her bold printed fabrics - alongside her gentler palette of plant-dyed silks and linens. These local colours are carefully foraged and grown, including gorse flower, indigo, alder, willow, oak gall and meadowsweet.

  The Macphail Centre, in collaboration with An Talla Solais Art Week, presents:

  Dogstar Theatre matinee performance of ‘The Tailor of Inverness’

  The Tailor of Inverness is a story of journeys, of how a boy who grew up on a farm in Galicia (Eastern Poland, now Western Ukraine) and came to be a tailor in Inverness. This critically acclaimed show has been in demand since its Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2008.

  The afternoon performance follows on from two Art Week sewing workshops; Slow Stitch and Sashiko Workshop with Frances Fogg and Navigating Blackbird, with Sheena Graham-George, Free teas from 3pm, with the performance starting at 4pm. See website for more details.
