Two afternoons in which you will be immersed in a fast and reactive ceramics class making collaborative and unpredictable artworks!
The sessions will run on the afternoon of Saturday 7th July and Sunday 8th July, from 1 to 4pm. You will work with artist Kjersti Sletteland to make lots of spontaneous component pieces which you will add to some growing pieces of artwork, so that the group makes several items between them over the weekend. You don't have to come to both sessions, but you might find it particularly enjoyable if you do!
This will be a fun and stimulating pair of workshops. We hope to have a mix of ages involved (although children should be 12 or over and accompanied by a participating adult). Finished pieces will be displayed in the gallery later this year.
These are free workshops thanks to support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Places are limited so booking is essential: please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
