Drop-in session: make a silver darling

Come and help Ullapool's Dolphin Project make a shoal of mini herrings for a fundraising project to support their work with people living with dementia.

Join the challenge and support the Dolphin Project!

Making a Shoal of Silver Darlings

An invitation to people of all ages to join us in our Creative Age Challenge to create a shoal of 200 textile fish for sale.

Working with paint, ink, print, thread, buttons and beads, each participant will create a unique three-dimensional textile fish to add to the shoal.

The shoal will be on display and individual fish for sale at the Round the Pier event on July 14th and all proceeds will go to support the long-term sustainability of the Dolphin Project. This workshop will take place in the Macphail Centre at Ullapool High School.  All ages and abilities are welcome - no experience necessary!

The Dolphin Project group meet every week for creative activity inspired by art and poetry.  Activities stimulate ideas, generate curiosity and conversation. We learn new skills and share moments of achievement, celebration and pleasure.
