Magda Salvesen, Curator of the late Jon Shueler's estate, will give an illustrated talk about the work of this revered landscape painter. Much influenced by Scotland's west coast, Schueler's work emphasises looking out from the land towards water and weather.
The talk will take place in An Talla Solais's Gallery surrounded by Schueler's paintings (which will be on show in Ullapool and at Rhue Art from 7th May to 19th June).
Seats will be limited: please book in advance in the Gallery or by emailing Geraldine: firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets are £3 per person (students are free but still need to book). Complimentary drinks will be served before the talk, which will last for around an hour, including time for questions. Please arrive at 7pm for a 7.15 start.
